Full Personnel File

The Mall Cop arrived at work today believing it might finally be the day, and today is the day, and he is handling it with the calm authority of someone who has rehearsed this exact situation approximately forty times. Badge polished. Radio charged. Uniform pressed to a standard the food court, frankly, doesn't deserve. Patrol routes are walked with the bearing of someone defending something significantly more important — a sentiment the Mall Cop has never said aloud but radiates constantly. When the radio crackles, people two booths away flinch. The whistle is used with purpose. The whistle is occasionally aimed at the wrong person. The Mall Cop is aware of this statistic and prefers not to discuss it at this time.

In-game, the Mall Cop is the primary anti-Biter pressure: escalating reactions driven by nearby bite activity. At low counts, he blows the whistle and looks accusatory in the wrong direction. At medium, he's radioing and moving with intent — slower than a Biter on an open line, but faster than a Biter who got overconfident. At high activity, he can trigger a Code Sock zone: a brief radius that slows movement and surfaces the last-confirmed bite location. The most dangerous version of the Mall Cop is one who has been ignored. After thirty seconds of nothing, he does something decisive. Experienced Biters account for this. Beginners learn the hard way and remember it.
